common sense

I took Dale shoe shopping the other day and after one and half hours and 3 stores and a pile of frustration later I ask him "whats wrong with this pair?" as he hands it back to me he said"its the laces they go in and its hard to get it on and off."  "Seriously!!! Dale that's it!  I can re lace the shoes," "What ...Mom why didn't you tell me !"  Wow so we took the shoes I flipped the last lace in the top to come from underneath and problem solved.  I love you Dale but geez sometimes ......you drive me crazy.
We went and hiked enchanted rock...it was really hot but pretty cool. And apparently we broke a law bc walking in the vernal pools is illegal and I was a little nervous on the way down since we kinda forged our own trail on the back side... It was fun but I would have liked to know that we would hit a trail and we did eventually.

We then started the school year and Dale is doing great and is enjoying jr hi. On the first day I was a wreck when I dropped him off neither of us wanted to make eye contact bc if I did I would loose it and I think it was mutual ... So he got out of the car and I lost it ... Really its just jr hi mom get a grip!
Macy teacher is all business but a good teacher. And Reid got who he wanted the cool guy teacher. I am. The room parent coordinator.. And I did my meeting with all the moms so hopefully I am going to be sailing smooth. And should have enough time to blog!!

The boys games have now begun and they are playing hard dales had some rough games but again he is playing hard and is a team leader and enjoying playing with friends.

Reid team is doing on but they are all 9 in a 9-10 league and we only have 15 on the team. He has managed to score each game and is having fun so that's all that matters.

Macy is cheer and is loving it ... I am not involved and think its good, since I think I would suck the fun out of it for her cleaning her up all the time.
Duke and I finished the juice diet and I am running daily with bevo 2-4 miles a day. He is mountain bike riding and loving it and bought the boys mountain bikes and they go all over and together we have lost 100 lbs and kept it off so that's great and we feel great. I do have some tendinitis in my hip and am gonna go see the dr to see If we can aid that without a shot bc I think I'll take the pain over the shot.

Summer was pretty scheduled we had speed and agility every mwf and Reid had a tutor tu th ... I know kinda wierd since he is honor roll but his writing and comprehension lacked a little and we wanted him prepared for fourth. Camp the kids went to mo ranch for camp again and loved it again! That is such a treat for me too the whole week off I loved it. When we picked them up we decided to swim the river and thought the bottom was rock and it was silt and sooo gross but we were kinda stuck so it was a long frog kicking swim but we did it.

Macy and I went and did a girlie day and had pedicures and haircuts... And ice cream she said it was the best day ever.

While we did that the boys went offroading and both drove the jeep .... My thought is if you need a booster and box behind you to drive you are too little but ahhh details

We went out on Bepaws boat and Reid drove that too

Hmm could I BE more behind... In my best chandler from friends voice!! I think not.
So where did life leave me ahh may ... Wow eons ago

So May well Dales football team ended in 2nd place. That kid impresses me on a field he seriously comes into his own ... He's a monster. One of his asst coaches is in 9th grade and a stand out at his jr hi and has said he will make sure the coaches know who dale is and I believe him. Dales head coach also sent the team trophy home with dale after the game to take to the party and said he deserved it for all his work and effort and leadership ... Nice
Dale also graduated from 5th not that there was any doubt or question but mile stone non the less.
Macy and Reid also finished up the year and all 3 are on A honor roll.

Macy played soccer with her best little girl friend and loved it. Her team lost more than they won but it was a good season. Same story for Reid his little team had a lot of never ever players and it showed but he played great and it was a good time and one of his football buddies Gabe was on his team so we got even closer to them.
